My name is Pascale Chouinard. The dreamer behind Le Skin Studio. I am a medical esthetician with a passion for people and healthy skin. My experience is extensive and diverse, which has allowed me to understand the overwhelming potential of the medical esthetic’s world. My career path in medical esthetics spans over 14 years, having taught in the field, directed a medical esthetic clinic in old Montreal, worked under a plastic surgeon, and helped start up a clinic on the West Island. I bring to you and the studio everything I have learned and come to trust. I have carefully chosen for you and me, the best tools for your healthiest, natural looking skin.
My approach is both nurturing and holistic. Together you and I will form the perfect team to optimize the health of your skin.

After graduating from McGill medical school in 2013 Dr. Kruijt entered and completed a residency in Orthopedic surgery during which he received the Addair Award Recognition of excellence in medical student education. Dr. Kruijt has always had an interest in the esthetic results and optimization using new and emerging technologies. Using his fine honed skills learned in surgery and attention for details Dr. Kruijt’s goal is to provide a naturally refreshed and enhanced appearance. Dr. Kruijt is known for his compassionate and attentive care for his patients. His focused approach allows each treatment to be catered specifically to the patient's needs. He is a member of numerous professional societies, such as the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, the College des Médecins du Québec. When not working Dr. Kruijt enjoys spending time with his two daughters and wife, cycling, traveling and exploring new restaurants.

Alex, RN
Alex Poirier is our vibrant and empathic Registered Nurse who has devoted her career to women’s reproductive and sexual health and wellness.
Graduating in 2012 from John Abbott College located in the Montreal surrounding area, Alex began her journey on a labour and delivery unit, and soon found herself seeking more advanced training at BCIT in the Vancouver area, graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing specialized with a Perinatal Health Nursing Advanced Certificate, and Certified Practice in STI and contraceptive management. As well as, furthered her training as a holistic practitioner and became a certified Doula from Alternative Naissance, Montreal, Quebec. She has dedicated her career to helping minority communities all over Canada including Quebec, British Columbia and the Yukon.
More recently, Alex has dived head first into skin health and wellness. She continues to advance her career by seeking more knowledge and skills in order to offer a holistic scope and approach to skin health, skin care treatments, products, and surgeries that are available so that she can better educate her patients. Alex is certified by ‘the Botox course - the gold standard for training in North America’, as a Nurse Injector, in both fillers and neuromodulators (botox).
Alex is excited to offer an alternative and holistic way of looking at one’s approach in skin health and wellness. From inside and out!
